Cichlids from
Lake Malawi are generally divided into two big categories; mbuna (meaning "rock fish") and
non-mbuna which are called
haplochromines (or "haps" for short). In the following
pages the fish are separated into these categories (this is how they
are separated in my tanks, too). You may choose to view the mbuna
pages or the haplochromines
section only, but I recommend you visit the
Information section either way. |
