All other things being equal, the availability of parking place makes it "the" place to visit.

Starting with lamps, heaters, air pumps, filters ..

... till foods and medications you will find an impressive range of products.

Andreas shows us the impressive central filtration system.

Two hundred and fifty tanks is always an impressive number - and an impressive sight we will add. The tanks are "isolated" in a glass room with a controlled environment. Ranging from 60 to 500 liters they will become the home of a wide range of fish. Tanks are organized in "clusters" which share common water parameters and filtration.

The entrance (while still not completed). You can see the decoration goodies and - at the left side - the glass room which houses the tanks.

The side of the fish room. Elegance, simplicity and aesthetics.
This is a tour in the new Hydrocosmos. It is probably the largest and definitely the best organized petshop in Athens at this moment. A huge investment with a lot of love for aquatic life. The project calls for two hundred and fifty tanks filled with "ordinary" as well as "rare" species, plants, decoration material, foods, just name it. At the moment only part of the tanks are operational since Andreas is slowly preparing each cluster to ensure a happy environment for his fish. All this is supported by Andreas who definitely knows what he is talking about.
A view of HydroKosmos, Andreas' shop. Andreas is one of the very few professionals with a wide experience and an in-depth knowledge of the hobby. Somewhere between a hobbyist and a professional, Andreas is a true asset for the Greek hobbyist.
